Housing & Meals

Students who attend any New York City Summer Intensive and choose to stay in Joffrey Ballet School housing will be assigned to one of the below housing facilities and have the option to purchase a meal plan.

Students at all dormitories should be prepared to take public transportation with their Chaperone or RA escort.

Please note we do our best to accommodate roommate requests, but we cannot guarantee them. Housing assignments will be emailed out the Thursday prior to your arrival.

If the dates are listed Sunday – Saturday, those are the dates for housing students. Classes are Monday through Friday.

For dancers not staying in Joffrey housing, hotels in Mid-Town (between 34th Street and 59th Street) are close to all trains and studio locations. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not partner with any hotels.

Airport Service: Fill out form

Joffrey Ballet School offers transportation to and from the airport. Our service is significantly more expensive than taking a New York City taxi, so if your dancer feels comfortable taking a taxi, we encourage them to do so. Below is an outline of fees and reflect the price one way. The cost includes tolls and driver’s tip.

Transportation to JFK, LGA, and EWR airports $150

Transportation for all international flights $200

If your student is flying as an Unaccompanied Minor through the airline (and you have already paid the Unaccompanied Minor fee through your airline), please contact:

JBS NYC Airport Transportation Coordinator

(transportation@joffreyballetschool.com)

Joffrey Ballet School can only provide a chaperone to the gate if it is required by the airline. There is an additional $150 fee for this service.
