Everything you need to know about auditioning for The Joffrey Ballet School. You can use any of our nationwide audition locations or attend a studio auditions to qualify for any of the programs. Dancers are scored at the audition, and receive a letter of acceptance based on their score. When you are accepted into the school’s programs, you can choose any of the programs listed in your acceptance letter. You may attend one or multiple programs from the Joffrey Ballet School.
Our Summer Registration will accept Full Payment Plans and Monthly Payment plans ending in June 1st/15th. Charge Dates: Dec 1st/15th, Jan 1st/15th, Feb 1st/15th, March 1st/15th, April 1st/15th, May 1st/15th, and ending in June 1st/15th. June 1st deadline will apply all programs. The June 15th can not apply to any program that starts prior to June 15th. (NYC Ballet Intensive, Joffrey South GA (Ballet & Jazz) , Summer Dance Camp NYC, Joffrey West LA, Joffrey Cirque Arts Las Vegas) Your credit card on file will automatically be charged on the above dates. For all transactions, a 3.5% processing fee will be applied.

Scholarships are for tuition only and can only be applied to one program in the style awarded. When you register, please pay the deposit amounts. Scholarship(s) will be applied to your account within 2 weeks of registering. There is no coupon code. Dancers do not have to reside in Joffrey housing for scholarships to apply. Scholarships are not valid for Genoa & London
It is the policy of the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School that all tuition and other fees paid shall not be refunded at any time, regardless of the time of cancellation by the student or student’s parents or guardians or whether the relevant program has commenced. In the event that the relevant program has been cancelled by the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School, the School will make best efforts to move the student into a substantially similar program; in the event that no such substantially similar program exists, the School will issue a full refund.
In some instances we are able to offer a credit towards Joffrey programing which must be used in 1 calendar year. The Registration Fee, ALL DEPOSITS, and all Processing Fees are non-refundable and will be forfeited.
Prior to May 1st, a credit for any payments already made may placed in the dancer’s name to be used for future Joffrey programming. All payments made at the time of withdrawal are non-refundable. Any future payments still due to the school will be waived at the school's discretion.
After May 1st, all payments are non-refundable. If a dancer's withdrawal is due to injury or illness, and certified by a Dr’s. note, a partial credit may be used towards next summer at the Joffrey Ballet School’s Discretion. Credit can not be issued for housing and meal plans payments.

Notification of your audition results will be emailed within two to three days after your audition. Please do not call the office within this period to ask about your results. Accepted students will receive an acceptance email shortly after their initial notification. This email will include instructions on completing your registration, and all other information pertaining to the program you have been accepted into. The Joffrey Ballet School also offers a limited amount of scholarships. These scholarships are given to the most talented students and are based on the audition. There are no forms to fill out for the scholarship. You will be informed in the letter of acceptance if you are one of the scholarship recipients. An Auditions is a class with a Joffrey Ballet School Instructor. The dancer will be scored during the class for acceptance, placement and scholarship purposes. Dancers are auditioned for summer and trainee programs.
