“Jorge Andrés Villarini is a dance artist based in New York City. A former dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem, Villarini also danced for the Martha Graham Dance Company and BalletMet. Villarini received his training from the Escuela de Baile ANDANZA and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. His international professional experience includes performances in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Hungary, Lithuania and Poland.
As a guest artist, Villarini has collaborated with Preeti Vasudevan’s Thresh Dance Company, Melissa Barak’s Barak Ballet and most recently Ballet Memphis. His performance range expands through the realms of classical and neoclassical ballet, as well as modern and contemporary dance. His credits include, among many others, ballets by Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, George Balanchine, Alwin Nikolais, Francesca Harper, Ulysses Dove, Nacho Duato, James Kudelka, Helen Pickett, Edwaard Liang, Nicolas Blanc, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Christopher Wheeldon and Shen Wei.
Villarini posses a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College and is currently pursuing an Masters degree in Public Administration from the Austin Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College.”
