Jillian Foley grew up in Niskayuna, NY where she got her dance training at Northeast Ballet Company, under the direction of Darlene Myers. She graduated from The Hartt School with a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy and two minors in Psychology and Performing Arts Management. While at The Hartt School she studied many techniques including ballet, Limon, Graham, and contemporary. Jillian has had many opportunities to work with different classical and contemporary choreographers including Doug Varone and Dancers, Parsons Dance, Joffrey Ballet School, Keigwin and Company, Matthew Ferraro, and Adam Barruch. In the summer of 2014, she traveled to Amsterdam, The Netherlands with The Hartt School to dance with the Henny Juriens Foundation. Along with creating a summer dance program for the community center of Niskayuna, NY, she had the opportunity to teach along side Jill Henderson, Jillian Cote, and Libby Nye at The Hartt School Community Division.
