Hyorim Lee taught piano at KyungBok College, Korea and Piano Pedagogy at BaekSuk University, Korea from 2004 to 2008. Ms.Lee has performed as solo pianist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist in major venues in Korea. She received a bachelor’s degree and advanced degree in piano performance at the Trossingen Musikhochschule in Germany, after her earning a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from KyungBok College, Korea. She is a first prize winner of the 2014 American Protégé International Concerto Competition, one of the seven finalists of the 2015 United States Virtuoso International Piano Competition, and winner of the Atlanta Music Club 2013 Graduate Piano Scholarship. In 2013, she gave a presentation on Musical Toys by Sofia Gubaidulina at the Georgia Music Teachers Association state conference. Currently a doctoral candidate in piano performance at the University of Georgia, she will graduate in May, 2016.
