A Massachusetts native, Christopher LaFleche graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from The Hartt School under the direction of Stephen Pier where he performed works by Graham, Limon, and Tudor as well as contemporary works by Antonio Brown, Gregory Dolbashian, Charlotte Griffin, Viktor Plotnikov and Pascal Rioult. He also studied on scholarship at Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp under the direction of Linda Kent.
Upon graduation, he accepted Faculty positions at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and the Hartt School Community Division and performed with Hartford based dance companies, Full Force Dance Theatre and Sonia Plumb Dance Company. Christopher has performed in New York with The Hartt School Dance Ensemble, Antonio Brown and Dancers, and with Edgar Cortes Dance Theater. His choreography has been presented at the American College Dance Festival, the Youth America Grand Prix, and The Hartt School Community Dance Division.
Christopher is a Pilates Method Alliance Certified Instructor and Polestar Pilates Practitioner and Mentor Teacher. He assists at multiple Polestar Comprehensive Teacher Trainings in Manhattan, Queens, and Massachusetts.
